An all-inclusive luxury natural light studio nestled within The Local Archive — our front loft room designed for creators, brands, content, and photographers.
Designed with an editorial yet welcoming feel, Cedar Loft Studio offers thoughtfully styled spaces, natural light, curated props, and an ever-evolving creative environment built to inspire.
Curated and operated by Mariah James — co-owner of The Local Archive — the space was inspired by the light, intentional details, rotating sets, and elevated atmosphere you’ve come to know and love..
Holiday Sets
This year, we’re bringing home for the holidays to Cedar Loft Studio.
We’ve transformed both our kitchen and lifestyle living room into two warm, timeless holiday spaces filled with soft textures, natural details, and plenty of beautiful light.
Perfect for editorial portraits, family sessions, children’s portraits, Santa minis, couples, newly engaged sessions, holiday campaigns, or your annual Christmas card.
Our holiday kitchen was designed to be used to bake with your little ones, create a cozy moment with a couple, or capture those perfectly imperfect holiday memories. We’ll have optional props available to add or remove, including faux cookies, flour, baking essentials + more.
Both holiday sets are included with your studio rental.
All Cedar Loft studio rentals are located in the front room and the adjacent space to it.
RENTAL RATES
Photography, portraits, video shoots, mini sessions or content creation 1 HR - $90/HR 2 HRS- $170 TOTAL 3 HRS- $255 TOTAL 4 HRS- $340 TOTAL 5-7 HRS- $75/HR 8+ HRS (FULL DAY)- $70/HR
ALL-DAY
full day content days, styled shoots, private event or dinner parties 8-12 HOURS - $70/HR 12-24 HOURS- $50/HR
ADD-ONS
Additional add-ons can be added to all rental options + EARLY SETUP/TEARDOWN (30 MIN BEFORE/AFTER) -$75 + CUSTOM SET BUILD OR PROP STYLING (BY CLS) - CONSULTATION + $150+ + HEAVY FURNITURE/BACKDROP MOVE - $50 + DAY OF ASSISTANT (DOOR CHECK-INS, MANAGE CLIENT, IDEALLY FOR CONTINUOUS CLIENTS SUCH AS MINI SESSIONS) - $25/HR + NEED A LITTLE EXTRA HELP BRINGING YOUR VISION TO LIFE? WE OFFER AN IN-HOUSE PHOTOGRAPHER AND A PREFERRED VENDOR LIST OF TRUSTED COMMUNITY PARTNERS WE LOVE WORKING WITH.
What to expect

A SIMPLE FORM WILL NEED TO BE FILLED OUT TO COMPLETE THE BOOKING
A 25% DEPOSIT FEE WILL BE DUE TO RESERVE YOUR RENTAL
A CONFIRMATION EMAIL WILL BE SENT ONCE DEPOSIT IS PAID
WITHIN 24 HOURS OF YOUR RENTAL DATE, YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL THAT ENTAILS PARKING OPTIONS, ENTRY ACCESS, AND ANYTHING YOU WILL NEED TO KNOW TO PREPARE YOURSELF FOR YOUR RENTAL DAY
